The Hallelujah Chorus, in my humble opinion, is the greatest religious composition ever written. Originally written as part of the masterwork, Messiah, by George Frideric Handel in 1741, this great piece of religious music has become the standard for all religious music, particularly at Christmas. It has been performed by countless choirs of every description and has been arranged, sometimes creatively, by modern arrangers and composers as well.
Nothing is more appropriate to hear on Christmas Day than the great Hallelujah Chorus by THE MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR AND ORCHESTRA - NO. 25 ON THE 2019 CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN.
And for another presentation, the world's largest Virtual Choir and Orchestra combine to present this magnificent work. Over 2,000 singers from all over the world were recorded for this musical event.

And, as the day slows down later, enjoy the great Nat King Cole singing The Christmas Song.
