HAPPY EASTER - ENJOY THE SOUNDS OF THIS CELEBRATED DAY

THE SOUNDS OF EASTER - CHRIST IS RISEN - CELEBRATE WITH SONG

It's been awhile since I have posted on my travel blog. I am back on the trail, now that I have way too much time on my hands due to The Wuhan Virus. However, as I have commented to many on the telephone since the craziness started, we have both been semi-retired for a good while, so we spend a lot of time at home. God blessed me with an amazing woman who has the patience of Job when it comes to hearing her husband express himself without ceasing. I do, however, spend a few hours a day in my studio working on all kinds of things fun and not so fun to give the woman I love a break from her mouthy BFF and husband.

The one thing that we have done a lot of for a very long time is travel. I have said many times - If I ever win the lottery, I'm moving to either Tuscany or Provence. Our first trip abroad was to the amazing country of Italy, which, as you know, is going through a horrific period for the great people of a country where western civilization took shape and then spread the world over. We originally planned to travel to Puglia this month, actually, but decided to postpone for a year some time back. Of course, I have so many boutique hotels selected from Rome to Sicily to Puglia to Amalfi that reducing them down is going to be a chore indeed.

So today, I thought I would post some great music, old and new, to celebrate Christendom's most Holy Day.

First, a Virtual Rendition of The Hallelujah Chorus, the greatest piece of religious music ever written, with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in the lead.

Second, a live recording of the great Christian Contemporary Group Newsong, peforming Arise My Love.

Please enjoy these two great songs spanning almost four millennia to celebrate this most celebrated day among Christians the world over. And, next week, I will be sharing some travel tips and memories to help all the vagabonds get through this shutdown and plan you next adventure.

Happy Easter and God Bless
